This beast is directly PTO-driven meaning the chopping rotor, where the most power is needed, is driven directly from the tractor. This eliminates the need of gearboxes that may induce unnecessary power losses. The revised pickup transports the material with a conveyor belt to the precompression rollers, both powered by the choppers own hydraulic system.
In case you already have a bigger tractor on the farm, this could be a good substitute to a self-propelled harvester.
