2024 Maschio Gaspardo Futura 1600

FUTURA introduces the segment of MASCHIO GASPARDO trailed mistblowers. Characterised by a classic set-up, it stands out for its simplicity, sturdiness and versatility as it is capable of adapting to all row and pergola crops, especially vineyards and orchards. Available in four different versions with 158.5 to 528.3 gal tanks, allows high constructive customisations.

The materials used have been carefully studied to ensure sturdiness and low maintenance over time. The frame, made of high-strength steel, also ensures high corrosion resistance thanks to the hot-dip galvanisation treatment, while the high density polyethylene tanks ensure structural strength, low weight and high resistance to UV rays. Thanks to compliance with European MOTHER REGULATION on road circulation, FUTURA trailed mistblowers make it possible to safely travel on roads.

FUTURA can be equipped with three different fan units: AVANT with front suction, POST and JET with rear suction, the latter with a plastic structure. This wide choice, makes it possible to adapt the mistblower to different conditions and types of crops. Different electric control units, which allow a total functional control from the machine or directly from the tractor cab and different types of steering drawbars, for better versatility of use of the machine in the field, are available on request to ensure greater operator comfort and safety.

FUTURA can be combined with a wide range of nozzles, including some anti-drift. In the latter, air is injected during the spraying of the mixture, weighing down the droplets formed and minimising the possibility of being carried away by the wind.

Features may include:

Fan assembly with rear suction. A hot-dip galvanised steel structure, nylon blades and conveyor with rear suction and a 23.6 to 35.4 in diameter. Straightening vanes are included to reduce vortexes and obtain a straight product path towards the espaliers. Available in a STAINLESS STEEL variant.

Assembly with front suction in which the flow is directed to the back, eliminating the re-suction of the phytoiatric mixture, thus limiting the suction of leaves and debris and moving the operator away from the atomised flow. The straightening vanes and the bi-flow deflector offer better distribution and there are no increases in total width compared to a traditional assembly.

Rear suction assembly with a sound-absorbing polyethylene structure. Its features are lightness and silence, resistance to aggressive products and greater efficiency in the wider rows (> 9.8 feet).

The twin (or single) jets made of brass have three opening positions, quick rotating closure and are equipped with drip-saver valve. Colour coded ISO nozzles are available in different sizes for low, medium or high volume treatments. Made of ceramic, they offer excellent abrasion resistance and empty cone dispensing with a 60° or 80° angle depending on the model.

All trailed mistblowers have the possibility of adjusting the wheel track width with a mechanically fixed telescopic extension.

Three types of drawbars are available:

Steering with lift hitch;

NOVAK type steering with towing eye and mechanically lockable;

NOVAK type steering with towing eye and hydraulically lockable.
