The two mower combinations NOVACAT V 8400 and V 9200 are our compact professionals. These mowers are characterised by intelligent technology for the best working quality and straightforward operation packaged in a compact but robust frame.

The two mower combinations are also available with ED tine-type conditioners and with RC roller conditioners.

• Cutter bar

The PÖTTINGER cutter bar features an impressively sleek and dynamic design. The 4 cm high cutter bar guarantees optimum crop flow. Due to its 28 cm width, the cutter bar delivers the best ground tracking which is ideal for achieving a first class cut.

• TRI DRIVE

The driveline in the PÖTTINGER cutter bar is famed for its toughness and durability.

• Centre pivot mounting with hydraulic weight alleviation

The NOVACAT V 8400 and V 9200 models feature an extremely compact design. Angled booms allow for an extremely short headstock. This creates a lighter-weight configuration with the centre of gravity closer to the tractor. Depending on the terrain, both the mower combinations can easily be operated with four-cylinder tractors.

• Collision safety device

NONSTOP LIFT is an innovative technology that offers the best protection to the cutter bar. The mower unit efficiently avoids obstacles by folding backwards and at the same time raising the boom. This prevents damage to the mower unit even at higher speeds. The mower then pivots back automatically into the working position.

• Operation

Both mower combinations are equipped as standard with the BASIC CONTROL terminal. This enables each mower unit to be lifted separately or together by just one spool valve at the push of a toggle switch.

• Transport

For road transport, the mower is folded upwards hydraulically through 92 ° and then locked hydraulically in the transport position. The optimised centre of gravity of the machine ensures safe and compact transport.

• ED tine conditioner

The EXTRA DRY conditioner is a joint development with the Institute of Agricultural Engineering (IMAG-DLO) in Wageningen (Holland) that started in 1997 to prove there is better way.

• RC roller conditioner

The roller conditioner is especially suitable for alfalfa and clovers due to its precision conditioning capabilities. The helix shape angular groove profile has a high bending and squeezing effect and guarantees perfect forage transfer from the cutter bar.
